Bhutan a purely Buddhist Himalayan Kingdom is unsurpassed in its scenic majesty and vibrant culture. The kingdom shares with Nepal the world’s greatest concentration of Mountains and living heritage of Buddhism. The fifty minutes flight to Paro can truly be described as a flight into fantasy. During the flight a firsthand close-up view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Kanchenjunga and many other famous Peaks become a reality. Bi-weekly flights between these two Kingdoms have made travel easier to the long-isolated Dragon Kingdom of Bhutan.
The tour cost is inclusive of all airport transfers, conducted sightseeing tours, full board at hotels and during treks on the twin-bed-sharing-basis. Bhutan is one of the few countries in the world still untouched. a paradise for tourist interested in Buddhist culture and philosophy, flora and fauna, trekking and mountaineering. Tourism in Bhutan is becoming one of the highest revenues after Hydropower.
Itinerary In Detail

1: Arrival in Paro to Thimphu (2,300 m / 7,545 ft.) – 55 km / 1&1/2 hrs.
On arrival in Paro, you will be received by our representative. You will be welcomed in traditional way by offering khaddar. Transfer to Thimphu by private car. Afternoon, we will visit memorial chorten and offer butter lamp for the wellbeing of the world and for our own better trip. Visit one of the oldest Buddhist temples in the valley, Changangkha lhakhang. We will spend some time inside the temple mediation. Later we will drive to Dechenphodrang Monastic
School and join the monks for evening prayer. After the prayer ceremony we will offer butter lamp at the temple. Later
back to the hotel.

2: Thimphu Sightseeing
Early morning we will visit Zilukha nunnery and join them for Morning Prayer, spend sometime the Drubthob Thangthang nunnery. Visit Zangtog Pelri Lhakhang and Parizamp astrology centre offering payers, wishes. After lunch we will drive to Punakha. Afternoon drive to visit the newly built Buddha statue which has the valley view.Then School
of Arts and crafts where students learn 13 different arts used predominantly in Bhutan, Lunch in town. After 5Pm visit Tashi Chhodzong which house the king’s throne. Evening back to hotel.

3: Drive to Punakha (1,350 m / 4,428 ft.) – 72 Km / 2 &1/2 hrs.
Drive through Dochula pass at 3010m. When the weather permits one can enjoy a spectacular view of the highest mountains of Bhutan at a sight that stretches almost 180 degrees. We will hoist the prayer flag on the way to Punakha. En-route we will stop at Dochula, making 3 rounds of beautifully decorated 108 druk wangyal chortens on the pass.
Visit nearby temple and spending some time. Further we will proceed to Punakha. En-route hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the temple of fertility which is associated with religious arts of phallus. Get blessing for healthy life and meditate sometime.

4: Punakha Sightseeing
Morning we will visit beautiful nunnery built on the hill top of Walakha, join the nuns for morning prayer and later we will drive to Punakha Dzong. We will spend most of the time inside this most beautiful Dzong visiting various amazing chapels. Later in the afternoon we will hike to visit Khamsum Yulay Namgyal Chorten and drive back to hotel. Evening nrelax in the hotel

5: Retrace the drive back to Paro (2,200 m / 7,216 ft.) – 127 km / 4~5 hrs.
Afternoon in Paro visit National Museum, the first of its kind which has a collection from natural history to religious paintings. Visit 17 century Paro Dzong (Fortress) on foot and continue walking through the oldest wooden bridge still in use.Evening stroll old Paro town and peep into some local handicrafts stores. One can also venture to try local restaurant for dinner.

6: Paro sightseeing
Early morning we will visit 7th century Kichu Lhakhang offering best prayers and meditating. Breakfast at Yak herder Rest, alter will hike to the most famous Taktshang monastery. We will visit every monastery and spend most of the time offering best wishes, meditating and offer butter lamps. Evening back to Paro, if time permits visit national
museum, otherwise we will relax at hotel. Hot stone bath available on extra cost.

7: Departure
Transfer to airport for your departure flight.
